The High Point Pub

Hidden away in the wild suburban expanse of the High Point Terrace neighborhood is a cozy little oasis situated behind a pizza place, which is next to a barbershop which borders on a locally owned grocery store which is my way of illustrating that this is a neighborhood favorite. I would also like to stress the "small" bit. like tiny. The size of your living room, probably. But packed in this small space is a lot of personality. The HPP features a great Shuffle puck table (the small kind of course), a fun jukebox featuring mix CDs supplied by bar regulars, and a passable dartboard. It features friendly bartenders and cheap beer served by the can or bottle, with my personal favorite being a large Schlitz., but they have high quality stuff too. People are friendly, if a little older, and it always seems busy, even if it's just you and your friends. One of my favorite places to unwind and meet neighbors.
